I have been painting for the past 30 years.

In all mediums including Pastel, Water Colour, Copper Plate Etching and Oils.

I was born In Pietermaritzburg and grew up in Johannesburg, lived in Hout Bay for 30 odd years, and have now settled between Hout Bay and Paternoster.

My work is Impressionistic in style, and often of landscapes with a figurative element. Nature and it's colours enthuse me and the changing seasons in nature and in life intrique me and are reflected in my work.

I started painting when my boys were toddler's and later went to UCT's Michaelis as a mature student and obtained a BA Fine art degree in 2004, as I was feeling the lack of academic knowledge of the art world and history of art. These 4 years were a pure joy, and brought a depth to my work which was previously not there.

My work is exhibited in The Art Shed at the Paternoster Waterfront.

I occasiionally undertake commissions, but prefer to work with what is speaking to me in my life's journey.
